Head of Tax

You’ll be the “face” of the Tax Department and a mentor to an ~5-person team.
Leader and Mentor: You manage the team, but above all, you nurture people's development. You provide feedback, plan career paths, and create an atmosphere in which people want to work.
Subject Matter Expert: You manage the most demanding projects: from tax planning (CIT/PIT/WHT), through transaction structuring (M&A, DD), to representing clients in disputes (KAS, WSA/NSA).
Pioneer Tax Tech & AI: This is what sets us apart. You co-create our AI platform. You identify where technology can replace human work (research, document generation) and implement these solutions, ensuring quality and ethics.
Business Developer: You build your own brand and that of your company. You write publications, appear in the media, and build relationships with clients. Your name becomes recognizable in the market.
Business Partner: You work hand in hand with the Legal, Accounting and Audit departments, implementing interdisciplinary end-to-end projects.
We’re looking for a partner to collaborate with—not just someone to execute tasks.
Qualifications: You are entered on the list of Tax Advisors (a necessary condition).
Experience: Minimum 6–8 years in income taxes, supported by successes in international projects, disputes or M&A transactions.
Leadership Gene: You have experience leading teams or projects. You derive satisfaction from seeing your team grow from strength to strength.
Sales Mindset: You understand that consulting is also a business. You can communicate with clients, build a pipeline, and manage PR.
Languages: You communicate fluently in English (business/legal). Knowledge of German would be a significant asset.
Openness to Tech: You don't have to be a programmer, but you do need to see the potential in AI and automation (GenAI, RPA). You want to disrupt the rigid consulting market.
